Census Bureau: More men than women in Alaska in 2019

Of the 737,068 people living in Alaska in 2019, 47.8 percent (352,153) were women and 52.2 percent (384,915) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Last Frontier News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 27,871. In the 65 and over age range, there were 41,608 females and 40,975 males.
