Alaska Federal Government issued the following announcement on March 11.

An important reminder to check all addenda, communication and updates to open bids as many public entities may be adjusting or suspending public bid openings, pre-bid meetings, walk-throughs, or other in-person events. All information that has been updated or changed on a solicitation should appear in the form of an addendum or communication. Contractors are seeing recent addenda related to the COVID-19 virus that may change how and when vendor responses are accepted.

In light of the new safety measures and fluid changes in how government entities are handling the situation to stop the spread of COVID-19, it is even more imperative to read all documents, addenda and communication from the local government entity.
